Production & Inventory Control Specialist

P.
of Client Relations/Plant Manager, executes the production plan through the various operations and departments while adhering to the disciplines required by Epicor for inventory control and job tracking.
Coordinate and expedite flow of materials and parts between departments all the way through to customer shipment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.

Communicates delivery commitment with the customer.
Maintains ongoing precise knowledge of inventory counts and balances.
Maintains and verifies all customer orders and delivery requirements, reconciles discrepancies, reviews customer release changes that affect ATP lead times and capabilities.
Sets up product routing and maintains product traceability.
Schedules equipment work according to document control procedures.
Computes amount of material required to complete job orders.
Coordinates physical inventory and submits reports to V.
P.
of Client Relations/Plant Manager.
Supplies plant manager and others with related information relative to promised ship dates, schedules, inventory levels, etc.
Assures that all activities and duties are executed consistent with ATP policies and procedures, IATF 16949:
2016 standards and the Epicor Manufacturing System.
Coordinates cycle counting activities and reconciles root cause inaccuracies Tracks job travelers through all routed operations; reconciles nonconformances.
Coordinates scheduling, routing and execution of all outside operations.
Participates in visual management projects.
Uses Kaizen and 5S techniques to support production scheduling and inventory control.
Provides time phased reports regarding orders, shipments, and inventory management SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES Responsible for multi-facility coordination with minimal travel between the two locations.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Associate's degree (A.
A.
) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ideal:

years experience with an ERP system, as well as purchasing and procurement of raw materials.
LANGUAGE SKILLS Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
REASONING ABILITY Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
OTHER QUALIFICATIONS Proficiency in computerized ERP systems, word processing, and spreadsheet applications.
Responsible for general ERP software maintenance of applications and database.
